AG-220 aerosol generator

AG-220 aerosol generator is our independent research and development of portable aerosol generator, and aerosol generator AG-230 type, are the use of compressed air condensation generated aerosol particles; the difference is that he built a compressed air source, without resorting to foreign cmpressed air. The AG-220 aerosol generator has six Laskin nozzles that are fully open and capable of reaching a flow rate of 200 cfm at 20 psig and are capable of producing and delivering an aerosol concentration of nearly 100 ug / L. By adjusting 2 to 6 Laskin nozzles, the output of different aerosol concentrations is achieved. AG-220 aerosol generator recommended in the test air flow below 2000cfm to run, used to test a single unit of high efficiency filter detection.

Product  Introduction

3. Operation:

1). Supply of aerosol:

Unscrew the liquid filling port located at the top of the instrument and inject the 3/4 full aerosol solution. Less than 1/4 full should be added into the aerosol. (Aerosol generator side has the liquid level icon)

2). Connect the power and turn on the power switch:

As a result of built-in compressed air source, turn on the power to work.

3). Pressure adjustment:

Open the gas valve and adjust the regulator knob to make the pressure 20psig (0.14Mpa). The control valve, if pressed down, is locked.

If the pressure exceeds 20 psi, the output concentration will increase, whereas, below 20 psig, the output concentration will be reduced. Do not exceed 60 psig for the pressure gauge.

4.Output of aerosol:

By changing the direction of Laskin nozzles, the output concentration of the aerosol particles can be controlled, and the aerosol particles are finally introduced into the aerosol inlet located upstream of the device under test.

AG-220 aerosol generator with 2-6 Laskin nozzle.

The size of the aerosol concentration can be controlled by adjusting the Laskin nozzles.

The principle of the aerosol generator is dependent on the compressed gas at a specific pressure to produce condensation. When the pressure is 20 psig, each Laskin nozzle can produce and output 18.75slpm of gas containing 1,275ug / L aerosol particles, when the air flow is 135cfm, the aerosol concentration is about 25ug / L.

The following formula can be converted when the pressure is 20 psig, each Laskin nozzle produces and output the aerosol concentration:
